But then, it appears that our endeavors are all roused by the craving for material favors. So, we have done our dead level best to act like ruined rich children.

There is a catch here, however. On the off chance that we ask enough, on the off chance that we read the Word enough, on the off chance that we keep up our association with God, in the long run we will develop until the ruined rich-kid life starts to wear slim. It's a shallow way of life for offspring of the King. We have the "privilege" to all that our legacy involves, however it doesn't signify "uprightness."
